Welcome Baby Visits
The Welcome Baby Program offers welcome baby visits to Windham County families with infants and newly adopted children. It is also available to families with young children who have recently moved to the area. At this one-time, free visit, a community volunteer brings a bag full of information on community resources, health, safety, and parenting. In the bag are also gifts and coupons for the family. This visit is available to everyone who lives in the 18 Windham county towns covered by the program. It is not a need based program. The program's purpose is connecting with parents, providing information about local resources and celebrating new life in our community with gifts from local businesses and organizations.
