Insurances
- Health- Two Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Vermont Health plans are available for all eligible employees. Full-time, benefited employees will receive 100% coverage through August 2010 for the plan that best meets their family need. Employees working less than full-time must pay a portion of the premium. Also, an additional BC/BS premium plan, COMP $100, is available at an additional cost to eligible employees. New employees interested in enrolling have 60 days from the start of their employment to enroll otherwise they must wait for the next open enrollment period.

Employees who are covered under a health plan not administered by the district are eligible to receive cash in lieu of health insurance. Full-time employees who choose this option are eligible to receive up to $1000.00 per year
- Dental - Full-time employees are eligible to receive an individual dental plan at no cost to the employee. Employees working less than full-time will be pro-rated accordingly. 2-person and family plans are available to employees on per need basis. A 2-person plan will cost the employee $40.21 per month and a family plan will cost 86.16 per month.
- Life insurance - Life insurance is provided to all benefited employees at no cost. Policies are equivalent to the nearest $5000 of employees' annual earnings.
- Long-term disability - Disability insurance is offered to all EES benefited employees at no cost.
