Community success begins and ends with the strengths of each family. We begin our relationship with every participant at Early Education Services by acknowledging family strengths. Next, we partner to build upon them. This success is due in great part to the support provided to EES by our community, program participants and staff. Our partnerships with families and Windham Southeast Supervisory Union provide an important support for children's school readiness. The EES Advisory Committee, Head Start Policy Council, town school boards and community agencies provide ongoing support. Staff skills are strengthened by enthusiasm and commitment to professional development. As one community, we strive to attain the goals associated with family well-being, self sufficiency, and young children's success in school. We are recognized as a solid agency, rich with resources of knowledge, skill, collaboration, creativity and dedication. We are sixteen years strong.
I look forward to another year at EES. Our agency strategic plan aims at program improvement, as well as increased parent and community partnerships. These plans are in direct response to changing family needs. As the Executive Director, my focus will turn toward working with local and state entities to improve supports to families. I will continue to lead a management team which maintains a program built upon the strengths of staff and families. We will continue to measure our achievements by the successes of each and every family. We will continue to build stronger families.
I am proud to be part of this great community.
Debra J. Gass
